David's guesthouse
David, a Malaysian cyclist already a month back from his journey through South East Asia. Now he has opened his own guesthouse. It's open for all travelers. The guesthouse is located 35 km South of Penang in the little town of Parit Buntar.
Too far from the "interesting" places? I don't think so. David has a lot to offer to the traveler. The villages around Parit Buntar are attractive. There's a lot to experience and David is a great host. He knows many people. So give him an email at munusamyreddie@yahoo.com

Bus to Pangkor
The bus is a great way of transport in Malaysia. Not only the quality of the busses is great, most of the roads are in excellent condition. Get the bus from Penang (Butterworth) to Pangkor, it takes only 2 1/2 hours. From Kuala Lumpur only 3 hours. Most busses are VIP or Super VIP. Even for tall westerners these busses are comfortable.
The bus in Malaysia is faster, and I mean FASTER, then the train. Even a journey from Lumut (the gateway to Pulau Pangkor) to Singapore takes only 10-12 hours, all through the night. Come to Malaysia and take the bus!
